Since 1886, the CKP Education Society has been actively engaged with the Community, which has generously augmented the corpus for funding our endeavors.
In these years the Society has given financial assistance to more than 5000 students to complete their graduate and post-graduate studies.
Some of the initiatives of the CKP Education Society are
Interest-Free Loans
Interest-free Loans and Grants are given to students for studies within and outside India as per norms.
These Loans are for
Interest-free Loans and Scholarship for studies beyond High School Education & for post-graduate Studies
Attractive Special Loans for deserving and needy students.
Special scholarship towards Research Studies and Publications.
Financial Assistance for overseas post-graduate studies.
Lectures and Training to assist students for Career Development.
Book Grant and Educational Aid for deserving and needy students.
Facility to repay the loan after completion of education
Reimbursement of MS-CIT Fees on successful completion of the courses.
Loans are to be repaid by the students on completing their studies and on commencement of employment.
Over the years, the Society’s continued efforts have resulted in increased awareness about the activities of the Society. More students from non-urban areas and economically disadvantaged sections of the CKP community are now availing of our support.
The Society has consistently increased their reach, and aided by the advantages of modern technology, are targeting being accessible to each and every needy CKP student in the farthest and most unreachable areas.
At every event or function the Society has organised or participated in, there has always been at least one, if not more participant who has benefitted from the support provided by the Society.
Inter-City Outreach Program
The CKP Education Society initiated in 2019, an Inter-City Outreach Program to access remote students who wish to pursue Higher Education.
Since not all deserving or needy students live in urban areas, the CKP Education Society started an Outreach and Interaction initiative, whereby members of local CKP Sabhas / Sansthas are engaged to reach out to the deserving students among their members.
These Outreach sessions reached local organizations from within Mumbai, Nashik, Bhiwandi, Kalyan, Dombivli, Ambarnath, Badlapur, Karjat, Panvel, Pune, etc. with the intent of reaching Taluka level in the traditional CKP native villages in Raigad and other Districts all over India.
It was interrupted by the pandemic and lockdown; and would be resumed at a convenient date, when the situation permits. This was a successful initiative, reaching villages in talukas Khalapur, Tala, Alibaug, Pen / Roha, Mangaon, Mahad, Murud-Janjira and Talegaon (Pune) within a year of starting.
Vasai-Virar, Boisar / Palghar, Miraj, Nagpur, Akola, Indore, Ujjain, Ahmedabad, Navi Mumbai, Dapoli (Ratnagiri), Shahpur, Chiplun and Solapur are some of the places the CKP Education Society has reached; and looking forward to covering more rural areas and Out-of-Mumbai locations.
Lecture – Dr. C. D. Deshmukh Vichar Manch
This is an annual event held on the 14th of January every year to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Dr. C. D. Deshmukh, the noted Economist and Former Governor of the Reserve Bank of India. He was also the Finance Minister of the Union Government of India after Independence.
The Lecture Series selects a subject most relevant to the Current Events of the prevailing period related to the subject of Economics. It starts with a lecture by a noted personality whose specialization is the particular area of Economics pertaining to the subject under discussion.
It is followed by a Panel Discussion or a Question-and-Answer session, in which the Speaker or Panelists answer questions taken from the audience. This Lecture Series was instituted in 2009.
Lecture – Shri. B. G. Deshmukh Lecture Series
This Lecture Series relates to matters related to Public Administration and is based on an endowment by Shri B. G. Deshmukh, the noted Administrator.
It is held on similar lines as the format of the C. D. Deshmukh Lecture Series. Focusing on a topic related to one among the most relevant issues among Current Events.

Exhibition of Paintings of Amateur Artists
In 2018, the CKP Education Society organized an exhibition of paintings by amateur artists. This was open to amateur artists not restricted only to the CKP community.
